RIT looked over at the froakie, its’ eyes looking the thing up as down as if it was trying to see to sense his fear. Donatello reeled his head back a bit feeling a little intimated by the stare, before attempting to match it .They both stared at each other until SP broke the silence “so,u-um ,do you think I made a good choice “she asked, looking down at RIT as she asked .RIT pulled a thoughtful face and seemed to think for a moment, before saying ”You probably would have been better off picking fennikin or chespin”
There was a moment of silence, before Donatello finally spoke up “um, surely you don’t mean that right? I mean like Madame SP said I beat the fennikin” He said” Surely this proves my worth right? I’m not all for battling and would like to do as little as possible but, I’m still a-“before swiftly being cut off by RIT letting out a rather large sigh.” Oh geez now you’re an even worse starter, I mean what use are you to us if you don’t battle “It replied “What goods a Pokémon that doesn’t want to battle, it’s like your guys one job and your failing at it”. And with that it promptly crossed its arms and gave SP an expecting glance, asking for her input. ”W-w-well um, so what i-if he doesn’t want to battle, we can just catch other s-stuff right? “Replied SP hastily “He could just sit and my shoulder and watch”. She quickly looked across at don to see him gripping her scarf slightly in annoyance as he locked eyes with RIT.
“What’s wrong toad, you got a problem with what I’m saying “asked RIT in a mocking tone as it smiled at the froakie ”Then go prove me wrong, go prove to us that your worth are time and we didn’t make the biggest mistake ever by picking you”. “Maybe I will “retorted Donatello hopping down off SP’s shoulder and onto the tall grass. ”Yeah and if this doesn’t kill you I guess that proves you’re not worthless “Shrugged RIT.A chill ran down Donatello’s back as It said this, but shook it off, not wanting to back out now and let the inanimate object beat him. Hopping off in the direction of Santualune forest, his legs shaking slightly as he did so.
“h-h-hey, don’t go! Come back “called SP after him, ”meh ,if he dies he dies, at least it will mean we won’t have to deal with his being a winey little bitch later on” shrugged RIT ”if you ask me I did us a favour”.SP gave RIT a worried look before turning her attention to her fletchling on her head, knowing the Pokémon she had just caught would be unlikely to want to help in fighting off any wild pokemon they might encounter on the way. “Mind giving me a hand Red? “she asked looking up at the bird. Red rolled her eyes slightly and fluffed her feathers out before standing up and letting out a small annoyed chirp. ”P-please? ”asked SP” Il be sure to buy you some nice food when we get to the next city”.
At the mention of food Red jumped off SP’s hat and flew off after Donatello’s quickly
